There is a massive complaint case against Abbey National from this chap which has the potential to become very serious for CIFAS as the complainant intends to involve the Data Protection Commission. Abbey has admitted that it was in the wrong and the CIFAS warning has been deleted.

You may wish to get involved. An Ian Hart is dealing. The complaint alleges loss of employment due to the CIFAS warning and Abbey contacting the employer, among many other things.

If this reaches the DPC, I am sure it will lead to all sorts of repercussions.
